Summer Lip Care Tips
Don't skip lip care just because it's warm
Summer sun, salt water, chlorine, and air conditioning all damage lips. Many people neglect lip care in summer because they associate dryness with cold weather, but summer brings its own set of lip-damaging conditions.
Apply lip balm before sun exposure
Lips have very little melanin, making them more vulnerable to UV damage than surrounding skin. Apply a protective lip balm before heading outdoors and consider layering a mineral SPF product over it.
Reapply after swimming
Both pool water (chlorine) and ocean water (salt) strip moisture from your lips. Always reapply lip balm after swimming to replenish the hydration that was washed away.
Choose a lightweight formula for hot weather
Heavy, waxy lip products can feel uncomfortable in summer heat. Numbrrrz's formula absorbs quickly thanks to jojoba oil, providing moisture without a heavy or greasy feel even in high temperatures.
Stay hydrated in the heat
Summer heat increases water loss through sweating. Drink more water than usual to maintain internal hydration that supports lip health. Carry a water bottle everywhere you go.
